Domain Parking learning curve
Well, since my first post I’ve been trying to learn a little bit more about generating passive income from domain parking. the key ingredeint for this is …. traffic. Even content doesn’t appear to be that important just so long as you get lots of people looking and then clicking on the links.
I think the challenge is going to be to get a lot of traffic. From what I understand so far, one of the ways to do this is to get good search engine results placement (SERPs, a new term for me) and one of the ways to get a good ranking is having a lot of back links to my site. so another learning experience called for.
I am in the process of setting up a Christmas site so let’s see how that goes. I’ll be starting with standard templates and then customising when I learn how.
I have noticed that there are a stack of ‘helpful’ programs out there to help with blogs so I’ll have a look at them and see what I think.
I’ve also applied for Google Adsense but they keep asking me to resubmit my website, without giving an explanations. Very frustrating! So I guess the google ads on my site will not generate any revenue as long as this problem persists. Good news for the advertisers but not for me.
While I’ve been hunting for info on the internet I came across this blog lostballinhighweeds.com and some comments on the All in One SEO pack in Wordpress. Well worth a read. The site is very good and well worth going back to regularly.
